• Just Culture Essentials: Building a strong foundation for patient safety SCORM package

      This eLearning module provides a general introduction to just culture for all staff in health care. It was created by Health Quality Council of Alberta (HQCA) and ISMP Canada. 

      The module is 15-20 minutes in length and contains a variety of references that you can review at your leisure. 

      After completing this module, you will be able to:

      • Explain just culture and how it can support the delivery of safe care​
      • Explain how just culture supports safety culture ​
      • Discuss strategies and measures to continuously improve your safety culture

      Upon module completion, you will obtain a statement of completion. 

      Who should take this module? 

      This module is meant to inform nurses, pharmacists, physicians, allied health care professionals, managers, senior managers and any staff working in health care as well as patients and families.
